Well winter has been in full swing here, and we have received plenty of snow; which for our dogs is like heaven on earth. :D They LOVE the snow, especially Schoggi.
They will chase snow balls for hours on end, and if we happen to bring a ball out the fun just triples!! Schoggi will carry it around in her mouth and then purposefully drop it, just so that she can dig around to find it in the snow :D
Unfortunately the snow hasn't been all fun and games at our house this year. Our awning that covered our deck decided that it wasn't strong enough to hold up the snow this year. 
One afternoon when we returned from church we discovered the mess. It looked like a hurricane or tornado had attacked it :(
Luckily it isn't something that needs to be replaced any time soon, and we really didn't like the set up to begin with. So this just gives us motivation to rebuild it the way we would like.
We hope the snow is treating all of our friends and family well this year. Only 53 more days until spring !!!

There was so much snow (6-8 inches) today that they cancelled school for the whole city! They don't have plows here so any snow means no school. It was finally enough to play in! I'm sorry about the tornadoed awning!
This is soooo sad - I loved your deck - oh well, maybe bigger and better??
